How can the Doctor help you?
The Document Doctor service can help you in two ways:
Pre-writing consultation
Having difficulty analysing, scoping and planning the writing task ahead? This consultation gives you 30 minutes with the Doctor to help you get things clear.
Cost: £25, plus VAT
First draft consultation
Got a first draft that needs some work on it? Submit this by email in advance of the consultation (typically 1 to 2 days before) and then have 40 minutes with the Doctor to help work out the action you need to take.
Cost: £65, plus VAT
Additional blocks of consulting time
If you find that the initial amount of time for either type of consultation is not enough, you can easily buy additional 20 minute blocks of time.
Cost per additional 20 minute consultation block: £18, plus VAT
How does it work?
The Document Doctor service is really easy to use:

- Talk through what you want to achieve and decide if the service is right for you
- Want to go ahead? Arrange a mutually convenient time for your consultation
- Book and pay for your consultation type either online or by phone
- Submit your document via email - if you are using the first draft consultation service
Calling for the consultation
Who calls who depends on what kind of phone you are using:
- All UK numbers*: the Doctor calls you
- All international landline numbers: the Doctor calls you
- All other numbers: you call the Doctor or connect via Skype (or similar VOIP service)
* Excludes premium rate numbers
