About the Course

Our Evaluating Learning to Optimise Performance publicly scheduled course introduces you to key tasks and principles to make your training evaluation simple, effective and credible.

What You Will Cover

Below you can find a summary description of each of the modules. If you would like a more detailed description, scroll down the page to download a copy of our comprehensive training brochure.

EVT01: Scoping and Planning Your Evaluation

EVT02: Defining and Creating Your Impact Model

Define and create your Impact Model. Discover how to: identify issues that could depress application of new learning; define what successful application looks like; and, determine desired optimal performance improvements.

EVT:03 Designing Your Engagement Strategy

Gather a rich seam of data and insights from your learners, post training to fully evaluate effectiveness. Discover how to: focus on key factors and issues when engaging with learners and frame questions and follow-ups for fullest impact.

EVT04: Exploring Learner Successes and Frustrations

Discover how to: dive deep into an investigation of your participants' experiences with the training itself and post-training application and the factors contributing to success (or lack of it); validate and cross-check your data for accuracy and completeness.

EVT05: Assessing the Learning's Overall Value and ROI

Find out how to analyse and collate information gathered from earlier tasks in the evaluation process to: identify overall levels of success and value; extrapolate any potential unrealised value of the training, and formalise conclusions and recommendations for future iterations of the training.

  • A way that positions you as a trusted expert and colleague.

  • A way that unquestionably demonstrates your value to your organisation.

And it starts with a fundamental shift. A shift from seeing yourself as being in the training delivery business to recognising you are really in the business improvement business.
